From July 12 to 15, 2023, the 31st East China Import and Export Fair (referred to as "China Fair") was officially held in Shanghai New International Expo Center.
This year's China Fair has a total of clothing exhibition, textile fabric exhibition, household goods exhibition, decorative gift exhibition 4 professional theme exhibition, as well as overseas exhibition area and cross-border e-commerce exhibition area 2 professional exhibition area, with a total scale of 105,200 square meters.
Enterprises in our city actively seek change, through extensive participation in domestic and foreign exhibitions and other diversified development channels, constantly improve the resilience of development, tap growth potential, and strive to win more orders. According to statistics, the total intended transaction amount of the current China Fair in our city exceeded 80 million US dollars.
This China Fair has been highly valued by leaders at all levels. During the exhibition, Gao Bingxue, deputy director of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, accompanied by Fu Hao, deputy director of our bureau, inspected the 31st session of the China Fair Shaoxing exhibitors, and learned about the current production and operation status of the enterprise and the difficulties encountered, and put forward new requirements for the enterprise.
During the exhibition, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce earnestly completed the exhibition service work of the city's enterprises, promoted the transaction of enterprise exhibits, and promoted the steady development of foreign trade in the city. First, do a good job of booth and exhibit management. The Municipal Bureau of Commerce timely conveyed the regulations on the use and management of the booths of the current China Fair, carried out the publicity and implementation of all exhibitors, and inspected the exhibits and promotional materials placed on the booths of exhibitors in our city in accordance with the requirements of the "Matters for Attention during the work of the 31st Zhejiang Trade Delegation of the China Fair". Second, we need to do a good job in investigation and statistics. In order to accurately grasp the transaction situation of the current China Fair enterprises, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce organized enterprises to fill in the questionnaire of exhibitors in China Fair, and conducted statistics on daily transactions through the small program of China Fair transaction statistics. Third, the exhibition service work. During the preparation of the exhibition, the staff will be arranged to do a good job of certificate handling, league duty and on-site tour of the museum.
In addition, the municipal Bureau of Commerce took the opportunity of this exhibition to carry out the three services of exhibitors, visited the exhibitors in our city one by one, had face-to-face exchanges with the person in charge of the enterprise, understood the operation of the exhibitors in detail, product characteristics and market situation, in-depth understanding of the problems existing in the current development of the enterprise, and responded to the relevant problems one by one.
In the next step, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce will continue to thoroughly implement the "sweet potato economy" to upgrade the "No. 1 open project", and actively carry out visits and investigations on the opinions and problems of enterprises collected during the exhibition, supporting enterprises to make full use of various foreign trade policy tools to avoid trade risks.
